There will be 2 stages for judging of entries for the announced awards. The Review Board (stage 1) will comprise of the heads of the main IT Industry Representatives, Irish Computer Society, IT@Cork , Momentum and the Association of Information Managers. They will be joined by 4 CIO’s from organisations across the Island of Ireland. The final judging panal will be made four non-IT Executives from leading companies in Ireland. Seamus has worked for BT for 25 years and has been responsible for the successful delivery of a wide range of major IT Programme for the BT Group worldwide. His most recent successes include the launch of BT Broadband in 2003 which has now become a multi-billion product line for BT and he lead the development of the systems to support BT Fusion the innovative product which provides converged services for customers over Broadband and GSM.
Seamus holds a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering and a MSc in Computer Science from Queen's University, Belfast, where he researched embedded operating systems for telecommunications industry.

Clodagh O'Donnell is Group Head of IT in RTE. Prior to joining RTE earlier this year, Clodagh held senior roles in many of the leading IT consulting organisations in Ireland and the UK, including IBM, Logica CMG and PA Consulting Group. In 2002 Clodagh was appointed by An Taoiseach to the Information Society Commission where she chaired the eBusiness Working Group.
Clodagh holds a Bachelors Degree in Engineering and a Masters in Engineering Design. She is a past President of the Institute of Business Analysts and Consultants.

Deirdre currently holds the position of Head of IT with Enterprise Ireland, moving from IDA Ireland several years ago. He represents the NICS on the UK Government’s CIO Council and became ‘Director of the Delivery & Innovation Division’ in the Department of Finance & Personnel in April 2006. Bill is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. John Gannon Opeartions Manager of Irish Times and President of Aim Ireland
John has spent the last 11 years working with the Irish Time. John is the Operations manager which, amongst other things, includes IT in the briefing. He previously held the role of IT manager with the leading Irish newspaper.
John also currently holds the post of President of the Association of Information Managers in Ireland. |  | Peter Shields
Since graduating in Maths and Computer Science from Queens University Belfast, Peter Shields has over 24 years experience of all disciplines within the software industry. In 1999, he established his own software development company (EG Information Consulting Limited) which now employs over 25 staff at our offices in Belfast, servicing clients around Ireland but also as far away as Poland, Germany and London. Peter is currently Chairman of Momentum – the Northern Ireland ICT Federation – which represents over 160 member ICT companies. Peter is a Fellow of the British Computer Society. | The Review Board will select a short list of award nominations for presentation to the Selection Board, which will be made up of 2 CIO’s and 2 CEO’s from organisations based in Ireland.
